Intervention Therapy (IT)

Created by Sprectre

BFI intervention for at-risk juveniles began in September 2011 with the Office of Juvenile Justice grant funding. Since that time (BFI) has continued with grant funding from the Wilson Foundation of Baton Rouge. BFI provided 28 juveniles with 1,008 home-based counseling and site based after-school based on BFI's Anger Management Assessment by Adrian Faupel.
The program has also provided more than five – thousand home-based sessions for at-risk children and youth. After extensive research on the black family, Sceptre created Intervention Therapy (IT) to answer the high number of black youths dropping out of school and entering into delinquency.

During the COVID pandemic, Sceptre provided early childhood education and fed 4,700 families through Baton Rouge Food Bank, Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, and the Capital Area United Way – ALICE project. Through funding from the foundation and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, Sceptre provided behavioral health counseling for families and children.
